Jumping cushions model SMZ (DIN 14151)
SMZ jumping cushions are emergency fall arrest devices with an inflatable frame. Standard cushions work with electric fans. SMZ cushions, on the contrary, are inflated using compressed air cylinders.
These cylinders fill a semi-rigid structure made of sturdy neoprene tubing which supports the fall protection sheet at a pressure of 0,3 bar. In this way, thanks to its weight and dimensions, the jumping cushion becomes much easier to transport and assembly, without using electrical energy sources but only using compressed air cylinders normally supplied on their trucks.
The supporting frame is equipped with overpressure valves which release a quantity of air at the moment of impact, which allows a body to be cushioned by absorbing its weight without making it bounce. The impact surface, made of a sturdy fireproof, waterproof, anti-acid, abrasion and tear-resistant PVC sheet, has an optimal point of impact with visible colors even in dark conditions. Two handles on each side facilitate transport and handling during operation.
SMZ cushions are supplied complete with:
- Repair kit
- Bag for transport and handling
- Connection kit to the cylinder(s)
- On request it is also possible to supply cylinders.
The cushion is certified according to DIN 14151.T1-T3
