“VULCAN LIGHT CV103” for the Fire Brigade with retractable single visor.

Vulcan helmet has been designed for the growing demands and needs of the Fire Brigade. The new solutions adopted for its realization improve the performance characteristics, significantly reducing the weight of the same (gr. 1290), a very important feature for the operator during the rescue operations.

Vulcan Light type CV103 helmet, in addition to presenting the important feature of lightness, offers excellent ventilation thanks to the reduction of the length of the outer shell shorter by about 4.50 cm compared to the classic Vulcan M.

The helmet compliants to the following standards:

PPE of III category, EN 443: 2008, EN 16471: 2014, EN 16473: 2014, CW/MED/367/2016 (MED certificate).

Safety in extreme conditions

• Resistance of the shell by impact, drilling and lateral compression.
• Complete protection in low and high temperatures, excellent resistance to flame and heat flows (tested at 1000°C).
• Resistance to splashes of molten iron.
• Face protection: transparent or golden panoramic visor meets the requirements of standards EN 171: 2002. EN 14458: 2004 e EN 166: 2001 (OPTICAL CLASS 1) and is resistant to high temperature, flames and chemicals.
• Reflective bands that ensure good operator visibility

Maximum comfort

• The visor can be lowered in the presence of a full face mask, suitable for wearers of corrective glasses and can be replaced quickly and easily.
• Wide range of circumference sizes adjustable with a wheeling system.

The neck protectors are resistant to thermal radiation and flames; available in 4 models:

• In aluminized fabric

Finishing elements that improve comfort

• Internal padding and linings made of Nomex® and soft natural leather, silicone chin
• Wide range of accessories suitable for the use of gas masks, torches, and provision of wireless communication systems.
