RN is a type 1 Self Contained Breathing Apparatus designed for maintenance interventions in chemical plants and industrial areas, for use in contaminated surrounding, for rescue intervention and, generally, in all cases where there is, or may be, oxygen deficiency. It is fitted with an automatic demand valve which keeps a positive pressure in the mask thus avoiding any possible inward leakage of contaminated air from the outside.

The back plate is made of blow moulded polypropylene, it is extremely robust and anatomically shaped to allow a comfortable distribution of weight and remains steady on the wearer’s back even when crouching or crawling. Special handles are provided for carrying the set along.

RN takes advantage from the unique MK2 Warning System built into the demand valve. This is activated when the pressure left in the cylinder drops below 55 bar. The signal originates from a sounding vibration caused by every inhalation. In this way the full capacity of cylinder is made available to the user for breathing.

FULL FACE MASKS
RN can be equipped with different type of masks, with threaded or bayonet connector.

DEMAND VALVE
RN can be supplied with demand valve type A or BN. Both activate automatically with a button to stop airflow.

CYLINDERS
The SCBA RN T1 can be equipped with steel or composite cylinders, of different capacities and volumes.

CLASSIFICATION
Certified of Type 1 to EN 137: 2006 and meeting with the provisions of Regulation 89/686/EEC (DPI), 97/23/CE (PED) e96/98/CE (MED) * e ATEX **.
